Every business has stories to tell

How you tell them, and to whom, can make the difference between speeding ahead…or being left behind

Storytelling is an integral part of a business’s communications strategy. There are stories about purpose; stories that make big, complicated, sometimes confounding concepts easily understood; stories that celebrate the achievements of one, or everyone.

snedits gets the need for storytelling in business — and we know how to tell them.

Combining creativity and imagination with nearly 25 years of sound business experience, snedits provides communications consulting services to corporate clients, from Fortune 500 corporations and global consulting firms to small businesses.

Named for its founder, Stephanie Nickerson, snedits works quietly behind-the-scenes so that your company and its key individuals are the ones who shine. Through structure and language, we can help you turn complex ideas into compelling narratives that will get you noticed, strengthen your brand and help you grow your business.

Services

We work with you and your team to identify your target audience, determine key messages, identify engaging research that can support the messages and find the hook so that your audience will want to read every word.

For larger projects that involve multiple, connected pieces of collateral (client decks, brochures, long-form articles, blog posts, case studies, social media), we can help you design a communications strategy and develop a framework for execution.

Projects

As corporate titans, our clients like to keep much of what they do — and who they hire — operating in the background. Without naming names, here are some examples of projects snedits has developed, managed and/or executed.

Thirteen Perspectives, One Voice

A multinational professional services organization was embarking on a global thought leadership campaign that spanned 13 industry sectors and several geographic regions. snedits worked with the organization’s project champions to devise a plan for developing 13 cohesive pieces of thought leadership, procure and manage a team of freelance writing and editorial staff; develop integrated schedules to meet deadlines; and manage multiple, diverse and often competing stakeholder interests. The result: 13 pieces of compelling thought leadership that client-serving professionals felt proud to share with their clients.

Credentializing Future Leaders

A sector-focused team within a global professional services organization was seeking to develop its next generation of thought leaders. The sector team wanted to give senior managers a vehicle to promote their knowledge and develop the skills they would need to become the organization’s future leaders. snedits developed a thought leadership program that taught senior managers to write articles of interest and gave them the proper editorial support to enable their success.

Startup Seeks Visibility

A privacy technology startup wanted to build its brand in the market and establish the company’s credibility as the leading technology solution for privacy management. snedits worked with the company to develop a communications strategy and execution plan, which included a suite of communication assets ranging from blog posts, articles and newsletters, to client decks and meeting materials, to social media assets and a short video script.

Keynote Address

A partner with a professional services organization was scheduled to give a keynote address at an industry conference that was celebrating women. Working primarily from background materials, snedits crafted a 20-minute speech that championed the progress the industry had made, while motivating those in the audience to do more to be champions of diversity within their own organizations.
